Neuton Light by Brian M Zick is a free light serif font with sharply cut details and pronounced stroke contrast. Broad capitals and compact lowercase letters create a firm, lively texture.

Literary and cultural themes are a natural match for its bookish proportions, particularly on magazine covers, exhibition posters, and arts festival programs. The lighter weight also lends fashion branding and premium packaging a restrained editorial air, with enough definition for prominent product names. Its pointed serifs and sweeping curves can echo fine rules, engraved illustrations, and the strong lines found in classical architectural photography.

It has a large height, short extenders, and a compact width.

The family will comprise regular, italic, and cursive styles, each in five weights, with small caps. It will include two italic styles: one called “italic” and the other “cursive.”

- Italic and small-caps versions
- A cursive variant
- Extended-width versions
