Quetzal Demo

Quetzal, by David F. Nalle, is a free bitmap display font with a stark, maze-like rhythm. The letters are built from tiny square tiles that turn every curve into a stepped corner, giving the alphabet a ritual, glyphic feel that lands somewhere between early screen graphics and carved geometric ornament.

That makes it a natural fit for game title screens, poster headlines, zine covers, techno flyers, and logo sketches where a free font can bring in a hard-edged digital texture.
